Details

I picked up my first SLR back in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the process of capturing images. Fast forward in life, a wife and two kids later, and all of my attention shifted away from photography. Fast forward a couple more years. Father’s day was good to me in 2017 with the gift of a drone. It was a game changer and I instantly fell back in love with photography and the entire new perspective that a birds-eye-view/top-down look presented. It also opened up the world of video for me (I had only dabbled in creating little home videos of my kids prior). Aerial work presented entirely new opportunities that I had never EVER imagined. To think that I can be on land while photographing something from a thousand feet above still blows my mind.

When I’m behind the lens, be it on land or in the air, I see things in a new light. I genuinely enjoy the process of capturing images and adding my creative touch to it. I love different perspectives and I’m always open to try new things to stay fresh. Photography has provided me an opportunity to add an artistic view to a fixed process. Doing video has allowed me to be more creative than ever before. The world of video has proven to me that there is literally no ceiling when it comes to how creative you can get.

I like to think that I see things differently. I pride myself on being able to capture an image and make it an artistic, memorable photograph. However, it’s even more fun when I make one of our little family trips look like a f’n music video!

The world of photo and video has allowed me to express myself in ways I thought only a real artist could - and that’s what keeps me going. Drop me a line if you have any questions, I'd love to hear from you.
